"I give you my heart"
Intimacy is a form
of trust. Within this work we have chosen as collaborating artists, to
create our own hearts. which we then offer to each other.
The hearts represent the proverbial symbol of 2 souls gathering, as well
the confidence that the other one will take good care of your heart.
Carrying a heart of
the other one through these jewels, represents the intimacy within the
congeniality, is physical carrying out the solidarity with someone else.
The hearts are made by means of the technique of MRI scan (Magnetic
Resonance Imaging). By means of MRI scan one can discover the literally
form of everybody's heart. MRI brings people systematic on map by
scanning rhythmic, slice for slice the body, and thereby a lifelike
reproduction shows, without physical entering the body.
Our hearts just like at the MRI scans also has been built from slices to
a spatial form. With the use of subdivided slices, a graphic imagination
of an organic form arises.
